Hello all,

Thanks for visiting my web page. On this site you’ll find the assignments for science and important information for this year.

We are continuing our Life Science Unit  (Chapters 2,3,4,6, and 7)  starting with the exciting topic of cells.    We will explore the complex topic of biochemistry in CH 3 section 1 and will continue to apply what we learn to the basic functions of cell parts and be able to explain the relationship between cells, tissues, organs and organ systems.  We will explore human organ systems and investigate how our cells use proteins to function.

Our mini labs this week will involve diffusion, separating mixtures and investigating catalase.  We will also have a 5 day lab involving vinegar and cornsyrup.
