Homeroom News

Mr. Curry’s, Mrs. Elrod’s, Mrs. Kallaher’s and my homeroom will be collecting for the Memphis Union Mission for Christmas.  We need monetary donations as well as new clothing for men, women, and educational needs such as notebooks, paper and pens.  Information about this community service project was sent home 11/30 Monday.  We will be collecting items and money from December 1 -11.

Hello and welcome parents to my homeroom blog. I will be keeping important dates and fund raiser news on this page.

Please ensure your child gets plenty of rest and eats a good breakfast each morning. They’ll do better in school.

Please join the PTA for $5.00. PTA forms are in the parent/student handbook.

Basketball away game is 12/3. This games will start at 4:00. We will play Riverdale.

The seventh grade is having a field trip in December 15th to see A Christmas Carol.

Magnetic picture packets are going home. If you wish to purchase one please send your money. If not, return the packet.

Welcome back!  We will start our Earth Science Unit beginning with Chapter 9 “Rocks and Minerals”.    We will learn about Rocks and compare them to minerals and even discuss valuable gems.  Students will get to complete a Earthquake preparedness poster, research a gem or mineral and grow crystals.

Makeup tests! If you miss a test, that test can be made up at 7:30 in the morning. Please check with me the day before you plan to come to make sure I will be available.
