<p><strong>Welcome back!  We will start our Earth Science Unit beginning with Chapter 9 &#8220;Rocks and Minerals&#8221;.    We will learn about Rocks and compare them to minerals and even discuss valuable gems.  Students will get to complete a Earthquake preparedness poster, research a gem or mineral and grow crystals.</strong></p>
<p><strong><span style="color: #0000ff;">Makeup tests! If you miss a test, that test can be made up at 7:30 in the morning. Please check with me the day before you plan to come to make sure I will be available.</span></strong></p>
